Glossaire de termes vidéo - 16 mm
Film format still used today by professionals and amateur filmmakers. The first
version of the 16 mm, silent, with a double perforation, was introduced by KODAK
in 1923. A soundtrack, optical or magnetic, replaced one row of perforations,
and the 16mm became a professional standard in 1932.
